First Days of School 2012

We are super excited about school around here!
 First day of Pre-K!!!
 A Starfish!!
Not bad for a first day, Star Student!!
Matt's paperdoll homework.  We included Captain America's shield to keep him safe!

Our little Ladybug!
He's so proud to carry his own bag!

They both had great first days, it's so much fun to hear about their days and what they got to do.  We love hearing about new friends, snack, the playground, etc.  You have to say it from time to time, but our little guys are growing so fast, Love Them!!!

Happy Anniversary to Mom & Dad

We've been trying to teach Andrew about earning and saving money, so Matt is learning by proxy.  My Grandma made me an enormous piggy bank when I was little, so I enlisted a little help.  Grandma Cindy found a fun pottery place in MI where we made Christmas cookie plates, so I asked her to look for piggy banks.
 Jackpot!!!

So, Grandma Cindy and Grandpa Mike painted a Spider-Man and Iron-Man for the boys to keep their earnings.  They even got them started with $.50 each.  So cool!
And, pottery is one of the gift options for the 8th anniversary, Perfect!
Happy Saving Boys!

Our little trip to Florida

We had all of August to entertain ourselves before school started, so the boys and Mom drove down to Sarasota to visit Aunt Connie and Uncle Corey.  We had a great visit, and it was really nice of them to keep us entertained!

Matt returning the shells to the gulf
At the Sarasota Gardens, all these cool movie themes.  At the beginning you can dress up, so in 90 degree weather, Andrew wore a nice polyester Robin costume!
On Friday, we picked Dad up at the airport and visited friends in Tampa.  We went to a local hangout to enjoy the sand, sunset, and rumrunners for the adults!
Andrew and Mom were bed buddies, apparently he got nice and cozy!
playing "this little piggy" with baby Isla
Wanted to show Andy a starfish, that is the name of his Pre-K class
One of the boys favorite parts, the downtown Trolley.  Andy got to pull the whistle at a Trolly stop!

Andrew is 4!!!

Brian used to go to birthday breakfast every year with his Dad, and he was excited to start this tradition with Andrew.  Andy got dressed up for the trip to Dunkin Donuts!

Andrew loves Legoland, so we had a surprise trip with Dad, so much fun!
