Fall Wrap-Up

Somehow I have procrastinated into the New Year, here is a small glimpse into some of the events that kept us entertained this fall!
Another season of soccer, we had our one arctic 8 am game
Andrew's Thanksgiving feast, we were introduced to the word "flapjack"
Annual jumps into the leaves, sadly not as many jumps this year, just too much rain
Rudolph at the Center for Puppetry Arts - this year we made Abominable
Finally got our ants
This was Andrew's birthday present from the Somar's, it takes forever for the ants to arrive in a test tube.  No joke, they came in the mail the night before we left town for Thanksgiving.
We are very sad to report that although we fed and watered the ants, they are no longer living.

Savannah Half Marathon

Somehow Brian talked me into running a half marathon, so we spent 3 months training.  Running 4 times a week, including getting a babysitter so we could run together every Saturday.  We traveled to Savannah for the weekend, and we ran 13.1 together.  It was a great experience, and I'm so proud of us for doing this together!

Halloween

This year we had a pirate and a green ninja/ghost (Andrew likes to come up with totally obscure characters & then we get to try to put it together at the Halloween store)
We also ventured off of our street this year, and the boys did great.  They didn't want to stop, but we reminded them that we'd have to trick or treat at all the houses on the way home.  Most people leave the candy on the porch while they go out with their kids, we may have forgotten to tell the boys to only pick up one piece of candy, we had two very full pumpkins!!
We went to Trunk or Treat at both schools
