Christmas 2014

The magic is in the air this year!  Many early morning giggles as the boys search for George (the elf), lots of wonder & merriment (asking the elf on the Polar Express how old she was), listening for Santa to put the presents under the tree. . .
There are very few of these precious years, and we will take them!
They both wrote their own lists to Santa
Getting so big! We saw Santa in a lot of places this year, and they were always happy, we have moved way past the scared phase!
Matthew, the shepherd, in his school performance (with Micah & Logan)
 the kid loves Skylanders
actually reading the words to Uncle JT
Elise got to come home and celebrate with Uncle Nick
 me & Chris
 making reindeer food
Matthew planned this for weeks, there was no way he was forgetting Santa's reindeer
 Christmas Morning
 Joy
 Excitement
Andrew hugging Matthew after they exchanged gifts
building one of many Lego sets
This picture captures everything Andrew (and I feel a little pride as I see him enjoy so many things that I do - Christmas carols (he knows all the words to 12 days of Christmas), taking pictures, and converse)

Chattanooga

We decided to head to Chattanooga to ride the Polar Express again this year, and we added a day at the children's museum too!  We got lucky and went on a day with free admission, so a little busy, but still lots of fun!
trying to turn a windmill with water spray
sending a boat down the channel
note what happens when you don't wear the rain coat
I think this is the last time they'll fit under here!
 such concentration
I'm fairly certain these two could be archeologists when they grow up
upstairs had all sorts of winter sports, this homemade hockey game was awesome
this area was packed with kids for at least 30 minutes, with one employee keeping a snowball fight going (great right arm from Andrew)

Polar Express to the North Pole
We asked Santa for Legos & Skylanders!!

Finally it's Fall

It's the middle of October, and we finally have temperatures in the 60's & 70's!!  We've been keeping busy with the school and soccer, but here are a few of our other adventures.
Andrew came home one day, and said he wanted to learn to tie his shoes.
One afternoon = done
making our own pizzas - yum
 picking out the biggest pumpkins
 this one is "just right"
We have been getting our pumpkins from the "pumpkin church" since Andrew was a baby
 Greek Festival 2014!!
The boys seemed kind of tame this year
(no crazy spinning = no puking)
Our lovely Greeks

*right before the sky opened and we spent an hour in the beer tent watching football while the storm rolled over
