What a Year!

It's been a good year!!!

Andrew graduates from Pre-K

Wowsers!! This was so much fun, and a little bit sad.  There will be many graduations to come, but this first one was quite special.  Andrew started at the Young Children's School when he was 2, and now he is ready for Kindergarten (yikes)!!  We loved his teachers this year, and the graduation was super sweet.  The teachers put together a video montage with pictures from the year, and we all got a copy.  It was really hard not to cry!
Andrew with Ms. Michele, we didn't get a good one with Ms. Kathleen
 Grandpa John came to celebrate
We added a few kids to our family shot (Jon Cole & Alex)
the kids made tie-dye shirts for the occasion
Celebration lunch at Taco Bell (the graduate wanted a doritos taco, who am I to say no)

Muffins with Mom

Such a treat for Moms! I was a little jealous after Donuts with Dad.  The Pre-K teachers did such a wonderful job showering the Dads with treats, I couldn't wait to see what would happen for the Moms!
We made necklaces, corsages, magnets, and even had homemade chocolate muffins (made by the kids)
 A little note from Matthew
The kids all made a book that was "all about Mom", I'm pretty excited that Andrew knows of my love for shoes!
It was sweet to be recognized by my special boys!

Swimming & Soccer

It's that time of year!  We had to get the boys back in the pool before our neighborhood pool opened.  Coach Cedric was really patient and a lot of fun!
Matty is on the kickboard in the 2nd lane
Matty floating in the 2nd lane
 Andrew jumping in
 floating by himself
 Swimming by himself!!!
Soccer was more of an adventure, it feels like we got rained out most Sundays, but we still received our medals!!
Go Tiny Tykes!
This is the same program that Andrew played last year, so he remembered most of the drills. We're looking forward to the fall when he can move up to U-6 with practices and (real) games!!

Matthew gets his Bible

There is a little ceremony each spring at our church to give everyone in the 2 year old class their own bibles.  We have loved reading this with Andrew, and we're very excited for Matthew to have his own copy!
