Michigan 2013

We decided to head to MI for 4th of July this year, and we had a great week visiting Grandma & Grandpa.
 Fishing in the backyard
We drove up to the farm, and saw that they are building a windmill on the property
These things are huge and amazing, it's cool to know that next time we visit there will be a massive windmill in the backyard
Aunt Leanne always has cool toys for us to play with
 So does Uncle Denny!!
Uncle Denny is so sweet!! He took out at least 4 tractors, and let the both of  the boys "drive".  Andrew loves the farm, and I know that we'll definitely be sending him to visit (work) once he's old enough!!
 Meeting Cousin Cole
Carpet Slides in town with Cousin Brady

The boys other favorite place, Uncle Mike's shop (more guns than they can count)
Thanks for letting us stay Grandpa Vince
 Happy 4th of July
(somebody should have told Mom to move over)
 watching the parade
Took this pic right before a storm trooper walked by, Andrew's reaction was priceless, but I chose to capture that moment in my memory instead of always having the camera in my face
Enjoying the last day of Michigan sunshine

Six Flags

Brian's company put together a day at Six Flags for all of the employees, and we decided that the boys might enjoy it!  There is actually a small kid area that we spent most of our time in, but we were surprised to find out that most of the rides only have a 42" height requirement.  We decided it wasn't worth the wait for this visit, but once Matthew grows about 2" we might try again!
 First ride, Tweety's tree
 Wile E. Coyote Roller Coaster
 Truckin
Dad & Andy zooming around the race track (not sure who had more fun)
Mom & Matt enjoyed funnel cake (again, not sure who had more fun)
Success, we survived a hot Saturday in the summer, Good Times!!

Rainy Day Fun

I recently took a camera class to actually learn how to use my nice digital camera on something other than the auto setting.  I love it, it's so much fun to play with!!  One afternoon we were all ready for swim practice when the sky opened, so we decided for a little fun in the rain instead!
Matty running in for safety from the thunder
the neighbors had just cut down a tree, and I got to play with my telephoto lens
BOOM!!
