This year we've really made a point to discuss what Easter is all about. If anyone can add some insight into this Easter bunny and candy bit, we'd love some help. We are at church most Sundays, and the boys are very familiar with the story about Jesus' crucifixion and his resurrection. We've tried really hard to keep Jesus and the Easter bunny separate. We're doing our best to teach the boys about our faith, but we're still enjoying the fun!
Annual bunny photo - he gave hugs & tipped his ears to hear the boys wishes (Andrew is a bit confused, thinking Easter is a bit more like Christmas, trying to reel that in)
We were hoping to have a beautiful Easter weekend (it was in late April this year), but it was bit rainy & chilly
the boys still found lots of gems
The Easter bunny was right behind Dad making faces, so lots of laughter in this picture
minimal egg dying this year (only Mom eats the eggs)
such concentration
thankfully the sun came out, and gave us a beautiful Easter Sunday to celebrate at Grandpa John's house
We are truly thankful for all that we have been blessed with in this world, and we do our best to teach the boys that none of this would be possible without Jesus. Christ is Risen!
