Sorting Easter candy takes on a whole new meaning when there is an allergy in the house! We have found that most chocolate is out, as well as most jelly beans. Mom and Dad do enjoy eating the "bad" candy!

Matt got the idea, and gave up the basket
Andrew was pretty into the Easter bunny this year, he even got his picture taken. He was excited to get up on Sunday morning to find out if the bunny had stopped at our house.

I love those Easter baskets! Also, I had no idea jelly beans could be an allergen. What ingredient is in them?
Most candy has turned out to be a problem. If you read the ingredients it says "might contain peanuts or treenuts" or "made on the same equipment as peanuts or treenuts". There's no telling if they would actually cause a reaction, but it's easier just to tell him he can't have that kind of food.
